Vishakha is a major plus apart from editing and technical aspects.But that does not make you appreciate his film.Screenplay is so-so from Gokul ramnath. Sethu is cool in an urban role and sparkles in few scenes.He is not yet material yet and has to improve a lot in emotional scenes. He is also saddled with a similar kind of role like the one in Theeya velai seiyanu kumaru. But how can we fault him? He has very little scope in his film(except towards the climax). His usual trademark style of comedy is missing here with few lines only making an impact. Santana appears a bit tired and disinterested through the course of the film. The film's story is a mix of Oru kal Oru kannadi and theeya velai seyanu kumaru. Valeba raja was in the cans for more than a year I expected a lot.But the film failed to impress much. I did like laddu thinna aasaiya that much but it was a big hit. So when I heard that kana laddu thinna aasaiya team was making another film, I was really happy. I like we'll made comedy films like Ullathai allitha. Having read all these stuffs, you people would not even watch this movie in pirated versions. The actors are just there, they speak dialogues and they dance for songs but they couldn't generate any effect on us expect for inducing heavy headache. His writing is downright bad that we couldn't laugh for any comedy sequence and the biggest pain is that he has got a leading comedian Santhanam on board. Abirami Ramanthan will be releasing the film in Chennai city theatricals under his Abirami Mega Mall banner. 'Vaaliba Raja' has been scheduled to hit the screens March 25. Musical score has been rendered by Radhan of Telugu super hit `Andhala Rakshashi' and this is the young composer's Kollywood debut.
